The Journey Studies is the 2nd release from the Danish quartet The Seven Mile Journey, to celebrate it’s 15th anniversary New Noise is proud to release a special anniversary re- issue. The Journey Studies is for the first time released on coloured vinyl. 
The album commonly known as the “red album” has gained iconic status in China and is considered one of the earliest albums introducing postrock to the Chinese crowd. The Journey Studies consists of 4 tracks and takes the listener on a journey to its designated destination. The listener is invited to be its own personal interpreter and narrator of the introverted journey, further exploring what is internal and external. 
The band has been active since 1999 releasing a demo in 2001 followed by album releases in 2006, 2008, 2011 and 2016. Through the years The Seven Mile Journey have performed at numerous venues and festivals throughout Europe and Asia including appearances at dunk!festival and the Roskilde Festival.
